Workmanship, which is the part we control
If the way we built it is the reason something has gone wrong, we come back and put it right at our cost — labour and materials.
- Settlement, sinking or rutting in the surface we laid
- Edge failure — edgings or kerbs lifting, spreading or coming loose
- Loss of jointing sand beyond normal weathering
- Sub-base failure, including anything traceable to depth or compaction
- Drainage we installed failing to take water away as designed
- Slabs rocking, drumming or lifting from the bed
- Retaining walls moving, cracking or leaning
- Fence posts working loose in the ground
- Resin surface delamination, cracking or loss of aggregate
And we'd rather say so now
A guarantee that claims to cover everything covers nothing. These are the genuine exclusions.
- Damage from vehicles heavier than the drive was specified for — skips, plant, HGVs, tipper deliveries
- Damage by third parties, including utility companies digging in the surface
- Staining from oil, fuel, paint, barbecues, planters, tree sap or leaf tannin
- Natural colour variation, efflorescence (lime bloom) and gradual weathering — normal in all concrete products
- Ground movement from causes beyond the works, such as subsidence, mining or nearby tree roots
- Work altered, extended, cut into or repaired by someone else
- Lack of basic maintenance — blocked drains and gullies left uncleared, sealer never renewed
Manufacturer warranties on blocks, slabs, resin and artificial grass sit on top of ours and often run longer. We register those in your name too and pass the paperwork over on completion.

If it's a workmanship failure it's fixed at our cost. If it isn't, we'll tell you what it is and quote it honestly.
Mon–Sat, 8am–6pm. Have the address and roughly when the work was done and we'll find the job.
Why we can offer five years
A guarantee is only worth what the build-up underneath it is worth. Ours is affordable to honour because of decisions made in the first two days of the job, not the last.
Depth and compaction
Digging to 200–250mm and compacting Type 1 in layers costs more on day two. It's also why we're rarely called back on year four.
Haunched edgings
Every edge course is bedded and haunched in concrete. Un-haunched edges are the single most common failure we're called to on other firms' work.
Drainage designed in
Falls, soakaways and channel drains planned at quote stage rather than improvised on the last afternoon.

What exactly does the 5 year guarantee cover?
Workmanship on everything we install — settlement, edge failure, joint loss, sub-base failure, drainage we fitted, walls moving, posts working loose. It's registered on completion and lasts five years from that date.
Does it transfer if I sell the house?
Yes. The guarantee is on the installation, not on you, so it carries over to the new owner for whatever is left of the five years. Just pass them the paperwork with the other house documents.
Do I need to do anything to keep it valid?
Basic upkeep only. Keep drains and gullies clear, don't put loads on the surface it wasn't built for, and don't have another contractor cut into or alter the work. Sealing isn't required for the guarantee to stand.
Is the guarantee insurance backed?
Ours is a direct workmanship guarantee from us, not a third-party insurance product — which is why there's no premium, no policy document and no claims line. Manufacturer warranties on the materials sit on top of it.
What happens if the guarantee has expired?
Ring us anyway. On a job we built, we'd rather come and look and quote you fairly for a repair than have you call someone who doesn't know how it was constructed.
